Natural Living with Leora

My journey...

More then 20 years ago my 3-year-old daughter had severe asthma.

After almost two years on continuous rounds of antibiotics, steroids,

and nebulizer treatments she was weak and her immune system had

become depleted.  I finally took her to see a chiropractor/holistic nutritionist…

and following his advice with proper nutrition and some medicinal herbs,

within a month I stopped all of her medications and she was, for the first

time since birth, a healthy, happy toddler. Honestly, the rest is history.

I decided to try this natural health thing on myself.  I had been "ill" since birth.  I had never thrived.  Living through an extremely traumatic childhood, teen and early adult years left me vulnerable.    At 24 yrs old I was put on three medications for a congenital heart condition and according to my doctor I would be on them my entire life. That lasted 3 weeks.  I used foods, nutritional supplements, exercise and meditation and was able to discontinue the medications and am symptom free 22 yrs later. I also began to feel more "vitality" in my body which I never had. Chronic fatigue and exhaustion had been normal for me.

I began college courses in Holistic Nutrition in 1998; earned my Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition in 2009 and became Nationally Board Certified in 2015.  I have guided countless people down this wonderful road of Natural Health and Harmony along the way.

Conventional medicine is most definitely necessary, but so is optimizing your health now to hopefully make medicine un-necessary. Health is not just the absence of disease but Well-being in all areas of your life.  I would love to build a relationship with you and your physician to bring the best of both worlds together.  It is my honor to support you in your journey.
